Integral wins Website Award May 30, 2008

Integral's design of the Rotary Club of Naperville website has won the Rotary District 6450 first place award for best website. District 6450 includes 62 Rotary Clubs in our area, including Chicago, Aurrora, Bensenville, Tinley Park, Minooka, and many others in Northern Illinois and has a membership of over 2340 prominent community leaders and businessmen.

New Spam Filter May 30, 2008

Integral's new spam filter has been in place for about a month and has already blocked over 14 MILLION spam messages!

New Spam Filter Deploying April 21 2008

We are installing a new spam filter at Integral. We activated the new appliance on Friday and as of Friday, for just 14 test domains, we blocked 98% of incoming spam and 52,009 messages out of 53769. We will be rolling out this new appliance for all domains that we have DNS control over. At this point Integral is recieving over 126,000 messages a day, of which our current system is blocking approximately 80,000 messages. The new system will be even more effective.

For the few domains that we do not have control over, your domain administrator will have to make some changes to your DNS settings.

Naperville Cares Feb 7 2008

We are pleased to announce that we have helped Naperville Cares, a non-profit organization, regain control of their website and have moved their website to our servers. We are donating our services to Naperville Cares, a wonderful organization that helps people in need.

Power Outage Feb 6 2008

We had a major power outage for more than half the day today, winter storm related. We had heard that a car struck a power distribution box taking out power to a area bounded by Naper to Mill, Ogden to Warrenville Road. We ran on backup power for some time and had to restore service to the mail server several times as we cycled through our various auxillary power options.

Mail Server Updated

We did some work on the antispam / antivirus stuff on the mail server and it seems to have backlogged some emails. We just restarted the mail server. Things should be flowing smoothly again by about 2:15 pm.

Power Failure

We just had a total power failure from about 10:25 am to 12:11 pm. Server operations ran on battery power until the supplies were exhausted, we were able to re-route backup power for the mail server to bring the mail server back up around 11:30, with full power restored at 12:11 pm.

Mail Server - Web Logins

Folks were having trouble logging into www.icmailbox.com from the web, we restarted the web server service on the mail server, which corrected the issue. Normal POP3 services (used by Outlook, etc) were unaffected.
